Changing the Scenery – Professional Skills in the Performing Arts Sector

As the cultural industries continue to thrive, performing arts centres in China have continued to multiply. This has led to an increased demand for theatre professionals and specific skills sets to support the sector, and an increase in international collaboration.

The report (while not extensive) examines the existing infrastructure (and international readiness) of China’s performing arts sector, as well as the related higher education and professional skills development pathways for individual practitioners and organisations.
